Principles met

  • We will develop systems that enable citizens to be equal partners in designing and commissioning public services and in determining the use of public resources.
  • We will embrace innovation in how we work with local communities to drive positive change.

About the project

A policy lab that extends the work of a prototype in Rochdale borough, which developed a toolkit for community engagement. This lab will bring together collaborators from across the CCIN to develop the theme of engagement into service redesign and delivery. It will focus on the involvement of:
– People with lived experience of the things “services” are trying to help with

– People in communities; citizens, neighbours and volunteers
– People who work in those “services” trying to help
– People who lead, make decisions, policies or commission services
CCIN funding will enable the contribution of people with lived experience (from all partners) in our lab. We will come together to identify and shape the things we want to change. By working together in this way, the group will understand and share what it takes to redesign services together.
