CCIN26: Deepening engagement with our Members

  • 25th Feb 2026

Across the conference, our members have shared practical examples of how co‑operative approaches are reshaping local government – from community wealth building and social value, to cooperative development, and care.

In our Sessions we’ve showcased CCIN funded Policy Labs, Prototypes, and our bank of over 600 Case Studies giving councils ready-to-use resources to take back to Cabinet, scrutiny and service teams.

With over 120 attendees, my thanks go out to everyone who made the conference a success, from the speakers through to colleagues supporting communication and event organisation.I really enjoyed hearing the strong thread of place-based leadership  throughout; the way that councils can work with communities, anchor institutions and co‑operative partners to rebuild local economies, support fair work and design services with – not just for – residents.

Our short, focused sessions and real case studies kept the conversation grounded in what is deliverable in the current financial climate.

Best wishes
