May Webinar: Fair Care

Our May webinar will offer an opportunity to learn more about, discuss and consider Fair Care.

Fair Care was developed by Change AGEnts following discussion events and conversations with Older People and partner organisations (within and outside) of the Co-operative Commonwealth, with the intention of exploring a just and fair co-operative solution to care provision across the UK.

Cheryl Barrott and members of Change AGEnts: The Cooperative Guild of Social and Community Workers will guide us through a session which will offer an overview of the main principles of Fair Care – The Three Cs – and facilitate a discussion about the model. We’re particularly keen to hear from members of our communities locally as well as far & wide, who have experience with care & support as it is being offered/delivered now.

At Co-operative Care Colne Valley, we’re really excited that we have a possibility to cooperate with this expert group as it is a great opportunity for us to learn together and work towards being recognised as a Fair Care provider. Change AGEnts/Guild are able to offer critical friendship to us alongside support and understanding of the complexities of making the care co-op a success within the current economic context.
