Event Summary

About the event

Join our Webinar and learn how you work with community partners and residents to address health inequalities!

Community involvement in designing and delivering interventions to address health inequalities is invaluable. Communities possess local knowledge and social networks that professional and government services often lack – enabling more effective, sustainable and culturally relevant solutions that lead to better outcomes.

This webinar will explore different approaches to community involvement in health inequality interventions with a specific focus on the cooperative principles of social partnership, democratic engagement, co-production and community leadership.

Our speakers cover both Local Authority and VCS perspectives – in our discussion time, you’ll get to ask questions or share insights from your own local areas too!

This webinar is part of the Westminster Council and CCIN’s Taking a Cooperative Approach to Tackling Health Inequalities.
