Launch of the CCIN Housing Commission report on Community-Led Housing
Date / 24th January 2018
Location / Portcullis House Westminster London SW1A
The Official Launch of our report on Community-Led Housing (CLH) will be held at Portcullis House on Wednesday 24th January.
The Housing Commission was set up by the Co-operative Councils’ Innovation Network (CCIN), led by Croydon Council, with a practical focus to encourage local authorities to foster co-operative, community-led solutions to the housing crisis.
The Commission’s report illustrates why and how councils across the UK are enabling and supporting CLH and case studies on 12 local authorities in England, Scotland and Wales.
The Commission has worked with HACT (Housing Associations’ Charitable Trust), which is leading the development of a technical toolkit on CLH for local authorities, available from early 2018.
This is an ‘invitation only’ event, to find out more contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
Community Led Housing Pledge
The Housing Commission wants to encourage and enable as many local authorities as possible to develop or support CLH. To contribute to this end, we have developed a pledge for local authorities to commit to the development of CLH
Would you be willing to develop a pledge to suit your local circumstances, along the lines suggested below, and join us to build a campaign and encourage others to follow your lead?
