Residents involved in the Friends of Hampson Park have been working with Stevenage Borough Council to help improve Hampson Park by:

• Applying for funding to support provision of new equipment in partnership with the council, such as an outdoor gym, skate park.
• Running events such as the annual Teddy Bears Picnic, and new this year “Music in the Park”.
• Volunteering to maintain the grounds in partnership with the council, which includes shrub beds, tree planting, and general clearance as well as reporting issues such as dog fouling, fly tipping, broken fences, benches etc.
